Ezra Scott
Music Producer / Creative Direction
Hey! I’m Ezra, a music producer who's spent the last four years working in a variety of studios, doing exactly one thing: helping talented artists actually finish what they started.
When I was earning my degree at Visible Music College, I kept meeting writers with amazing songs that never quite made it across the finish line. Not because the songs weren't good, but because finishing takes more than talent; it takes a team. That's when I knew: producing wasn't just something I was good at, it was what I was meant to do.
Since then, I've built my process around indie folk, singer-songwriter, dream pop, and ambient music — genres built on space, feeling, and story, where the artist's voice has to stay front and center. I bring a collaborative spirit to every session: I listen first, guide second, and treat every song like it's the most important thing, because to you, it is.

Grant Baker

I'm Grant Baker — mixing engineer and co-producer here at Duophonic, and a musician at heart. I play in two bands, Suntwist and The Fresh Bears, and trained at CRAS Audio Recording School. Most of what I know about mixing I had to learn the long way; years of writing, performing, and recording my own music before realizing my favorite part of the process was getting to mix.
Funny enough, Ezra and I met back in 2024 making music together at Hume Studios, and it's wild we've both ended up in San Diego. Building Duophonic gives me exactly what I always wanted: a seamless production pipeline where I'm not just handed a track to polish at the end, but in the room from the start, making decisions alongside Ezra.

You %100 can! I will say, doing it all yourself can easily turn into burnout and hurt the art. (We know this!) That’s why we work together. The best music is made together; we take all the guesswork out of the equation - you get to do the fun, which is making the song.

Typically 4 weeks! We never rush a project, but having some momentum is important.

Your music is way more ready than you think! You might be unsure about your sound, but we'll figure that out together. We’ve transformed 20-second demos into full productions - even if it’s just a voice memo we can help you!

We do both! I’ve had artists who’ve reached out from Florida to finish a song, and we also have artists who come into our studio in-person. We are very dedicated to every artist who comes in contact with Duophonic.

No worries! We start with a 1-on-1 call to learn your vision and song vibe, then guide you from song sketch and instrument ideas, recording, then mixing and mastering. After each session, we schedule studio time or a Zoom so you always know the next steps.
